GPU prices, Sep 10 2026: entry cards cooled

What actually moved
Only one card gives a clean week-over-week comparison, because we compare within the same channel: the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, $800 → $779.99 at Newegg (−2.5%). Everything else in this snapshot is a new channel reading, so the board shows it as new rather than pretending it's a delta.
What the levels say:
- The flagship is still a premium card. At $4,899.99 the RTX 5090 remains roughly 2.4× its $2,000 launch MSRP. For local LLM buyers it stays a "buy when you must" 32GB card, not a value play.
- The entry tier is where the air is. The RTX 3060 12GB at $454.62 is still the cheapest new 12GB option we track, and the 5060 Ti 16GB at $779.99 is the cheapest new 16GB. Those two tiers are what most first local-LLM rigs are actually built on.
- 24GB has a non-Nvidia option. The Intel Arc Pro B60 24GB at $959 is real hardware at a real price — worth tracking even if the software stack is more work.
- 48GB is the 70B class, and it is not cheap. An A6000 48GB is $4,849.99 refurbished at Newegg; new, $5,975.06. That gap is the whole argument for dual-used-3090 builds.
How to read our prices
- Every row is a point-in-time observation in a specific channel (here, Newegg). We record the channel, so we never compare a street average against a single retailer listing and call it a move.
- Prices are a weekly snapshot, not a quote — listings change daily. The live table is at /prices, and each snapshot keeps its own page: /prices/2026-09-10.
- The GPU performance side of these cards is on the benchmarks board — 468 runs across 70 GPUs, 337 of them independently checked. See the methodology.
